Safety Recalls
From time to time you may here of a ‘safety recall’ in the media concerning your Honda product. This does not always mean your vehicle is involved or that a defect exist with your vehicle. Most recalls mean that Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has decided a safety concern may exist in a specific model based on complaints, testing or some other type of engineering concern. At times this may have already been corrected on the assembly line or it may be a concern not actually demonstrated in the field but found during assembly.
All safety recalls are handled in accordance with the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act and Honda will contact the customers involved by letter according to the actual vehicle identification number assigned to your vehicle at the plant.
